Deals
A deal is a bundle of menu items sold at one price — a drink and fries for less than the two apart. The counter sells it with one tap; the order still carries the separate items, so stock comes off each one and the kitchen slip says what to make.

Zones and session rates
A session is charged a fixed price for its length, not by the minute. A length with no price of its own is charged pro rata from the nearest shorter one. Changing a rate never re-prices a session that is already running.
